Herbal Wash
The herbal wash refers to a traditional Ayurvedic wash; it is a complementary procedure that signifies the end of an Ayurvedic treatment session.
The procedure is a simple one: The patient is first put to sit upon a stool; the vaidya prepares warm water in a cup, and applies a mixture of herbal paste to the back of the patient's body with a rub. The patient's head would be washed with herbal shampoo, and herbal paste is then given to the patient to be applied to the body himself or herself.
