Herbs and Herbal Oils

Indians were, in days past, strictly vegetarian. Their way of life, the Ayurveda, was a strict reflection of their dietary habits.

Following this principle, our herbal treatments and herbal oils are thus made from fruits, wild herbs, vegetables and other plant-based items, and only those. We never resort to animal fats to produce our herbal oils.

As such, our herbal oils are very safe, and as far as Muslims as concerned, halal, for both use and consumption.

200 Varieties of Herbal Oil

Our establishment employs more than 200 different varieties of herbal oils, which are distinguished based on usage, effect, and potency. These herbal oils are obtained from an approved manufacturer/trader in India. We also grow and prepare some of the herbs and herbal oils ourselves.

We use these herbal oils to treat our clients, but their application is on a case-by-case basis. The reason for this being that these herbal oils have medicative effects, and must be proportioned to suit the body conditions (prakriti) of our clients.

Hence, they are never mixed randomly, or applied equally haphazardly. Furthermore, in treating our clients, we will never use more than what is necessary to complete the treatment.

Purchasing Herbal Oils

Clients may also purchase herbal oils from us; they are not very expensive. (Some of our clients do come to purchase oil without undergoing treatments or massages. In this respect, the oil acts just as a medicine.)

However, we do limit the selling of herbal oils and herbs to certain individuals and situations only, because firstly, we are not a pharmacy, and we do not do counter-based transactions; and secondly, some of these herbal oils may be harmful to health if not used properly, and so we reserve the right to refuse the sale of some varieties of them.
