Takara Dhara

Takara Dhara is concerned with the application of medicated herbal yogurt to the forehead.  It has a soothing effect and is very effective against eczema, psoriasis, certain skin diseases, obesity, and diabetes.

Elakizhi

Elakizhi is a unique massage, which applies a variation of the kizhi technique, and uses medicated leaves and oil. Elakizhi is an effective treatment against hemiplegia, quadriplegia, sciatica, obesity, bodily fatigue, rheumatic arthritis, and spondylosis.

Podikhizki

Podikizhi is a unique massage which applies the techniques of kizhi, and employs medicated cereals and oil. Podikizhi as a treatment works well against hemiplegia, quadriplegia, sciatica, sexual weaknesses, and bodily pains.

Sirovasthi

For this treatment, the patient is made to wear a leather cap; herbal oil is then poured onto it. Sirovasthi is a very effective treatment for ear, nose, and throat diseases, and it has been known to have reduced the effects of facial paralysis.

Kasayavasthi

Kasayavasthi is a type of medicated enema. It uses a mixture of medicated oil, honey, water-soluble herbs and milk. It is very effective against rheumatism, neuralgia, sciatica, and back pain

Matravasthi

Like Kasayavasthi, Matravasthi is also a type of medicated enema, which uses a mixture of medicated oil, honey, water-soluble herbs and milk.  The difference is in the application of the technique. Kasayavasthi is an excellent treatment to counter rheumatism and arthritis, diseases of the nervous system, hemiplegic, numbness, gastric complaints, chronic constipation and hemorrhoids, gout, sciatica, and insomnia.

Nasyam

Nasyam introduces medicated oil into the nostril, which lubricates and purifies the nose. It relieves sinusitis, migraines, and is a very effective treatment to counter (the early stages of) spondylosis.

Virechanam

Virechanam uses clarified butter oil (ghee) for medical purgation purposes. This treatment cleans and purifies the elementary canal. It is used to treat such diseases as ascites, piles, worm trouble, constipation, and filariasis.

Lepam

Lepam refers to the spreading of thick paste, made from a blend of herbs, spices and juice, onto specific areas of the body. The application of paste allows for it to be absorbed into the cells faster; it also reduces inflammation, increases blood circulation, and may improve one's skin texture and complexion. Lepam relieves various inflammatory diseases and pains, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, edema, back aches, headaches, and certain skin diseases.

Netra Basti

Netra Basti employs warm clarified butter oil (ghee), which will be used to 'bathe' the eyes. Netra Bastihas a calming effect and it is able to rejuvenate tired, strained eyes. It is an excellent retreat for those with office jobs that require them to stare at their monitors for extended periods of time.

Nabi Basti

In Nabi Basti, warm oil basti is used to bathe the navel, which is then followed by a massage. Nabi Basti is used to treat constipation and other abdominal diseases and problems.

Katti Basti

Katti Basti focuses on the spinal system. It highlights the chakra point in that area by using an application of warm oil and massaging techniques. Katti Basti is a very relaxing treatment for the body, and it is a perfect solution for lower back pain.
