A rejuvenating treatment for the eyes.
Urad doughs (black gram) are placed around the eyes to form a 'dam'; clarified butter oil (ghee) is then placed upon the grooves made, which streams through their pathways, thus lubricating the eyes and the surrounding areas.
Netra Tarpana greatly strengthens tissues surrounding the eyes, and may reduce darkened eye circles if treatment is repeated over several days. The treatment also helps with dry, watery, or burning and painful sensations in the eyes.
